Margaret Wat, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Margaret Wat graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology. She received her M.D./Ph.D. degrees at Baylor College of Medicine, where she earned a prestigious NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA F30 award to fund her graduate research in Molecular and Human Genetics. She completed an internal medicine internship at Baylor College of Medicine, dermatology residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University, and dermatopathology fellowship at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she trained with internationally recognized experts in the field.

Dr. Wat is board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has published multiple articles in clinical dermatology and dermatopathology and has presented her work at international and national meetings.

She treats patients of all ages for a broad range of dermatology conditions, such as skin cancer screening, psoriasis, eczema, and acne.

Outside of work, Dr. Wat enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, gardening, and art.
