Gayin Lee, M.D.

Dr. Gayin Lee is a board-certified dermatologist who completed her dermatology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care and has a special interest in skin cancer screening and management, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, and hidradenitis suppurativa. She is experienced in skin cancer excisions and enjoys performing procedures such as hidradenitis suppurativa deroofing, which can provide meaningful relief for patients living with painful, chronic disease.

Dr. Lee also has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology and facial rejuvenation. She enjoys creating natural, individualized results using neuromodulators, fillers, and lasers, with particular expertise and interest in cheek and lip fillers. She is passionate about staying up to date on emerging, science-backed aesthetic treatments.

Above all, Dr. Lee believes in getting to know each patient as a whole person. She takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to dermatologic care and considers the physical, psychological, and social factors that can influence skin health and quality of life. Using the biopsychosocial model, she works collaboratively with her patients to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address not only the condition itself, but also the ways it affects their daily lives and well-being.

Outside of dermatology, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, exploring new restaurants, cooking, and hosting dinner parties.
