Jordan Cummins, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Jordan Cummins graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University with academic honors including membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Xi Honor Societies. He attained his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Cummins completed his internship in Internal Medicine at John Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital and his dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School-Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Cummins is a board-certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Before transitioning full time to Massachusetts Dermatology Associates, Dr. Cummins was Clinical Associate in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital where he was Co-Director of the High Risk Skin Cancer Clinic and Instructor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School.
His primary clinical interest is in cancers of the skin including melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma, and Dr. Cummins also sees patients with a variety of other skin conditions. He has published numerous research articles examining the biology of human cancers in leading journals such as Nature and has made advancements including the discovery of new potential molecular targets in cancer therapy.
