She routinely peer reviews manuscripts and is on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys biking, rowing, and running.

Dr. Alireza “Al” Sepehr is a board certified Harvard-trained dermatopathologist who provides diagnoses on skin specimens of MassDerm patients. Dr. Sepehr renders his diagnoses in close collaboration with his clinical colleagues at MassDerm to unravel difficult and challenging skin disorders with a focus on clinicopathologic correlation. Dr. Sepehr is an expert in melanocytic neoplasms and has been an invited course director and lecturer in international and national courses on this topic. Prior to joining MassDerm, he has assumed academic roles such as assistant professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School with more than seventy medical publications. When away from his microscope, Dr. Sepehr enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
